Built in 1898 and closed forever in 2002, even the building is no more. This is all that remains of the whisky named after ‘the secret well’, the source of its crisp, clear water from the Rotheshills. Even in its heyday, Caperdonich was a little distillery, making whisky in small batches. Other distilleries grew and grew, but Caperdonich stood firm and true. While the building may be gone, the distiller’s craft lives on.

Aged grain and malt whiskey distillate, corrected water, sugar dye - sugar color.

Matured in first fill American oak barrels this warming, rich malt combines complex flavours of juicy blackcurrant, sweet pear and creamy milk chocolate. A touch of cinnamon spice leads to a long and succulent finish.
