Expert oak treatment gives this wine the structure and fruit balance which will continue to develop over the next ten years and beyond. It was matured for 12 months in predominantly American oak hogsheads. |

This is a typically opulent Barossa Valley Shiraz wine with rich ripe chocolate and raisin aromas, strongly earthy vanilla overtones and subtle spice. The palate is full bodied with lovely oak characters. There is loads of spicy berry flavour and also good acidity and length, producing a pleasing savoury character on the finish; an added element of complexity that is unusual for the region. This wine will age well for 20 years or more. Serve with grilled lamb fillets or backstrap on the BBQ.
