Jacob’s Creek Double Barrel Single Vineyard is the ultimate expression of the unique double barrel process. It is a new super-premium range, starting with fine red wines crafted from single vineyard fruit, which go through two types of barrel treatment (hence the name Double Barrel): ageing in traditional wine barrels, and finishing in barrels that once held some of the world’s most premium whiskies.

COLOUR: Solid crimson with a purple hue. AROMA: Sweet vanilla notes with savoury dark fruits and subtle leafy notes. TASTE: Our double-barrel technique provides depth and complexity. First aging in new French oak hogsheads added toast and cedar notes to the premium fruit. Then finishing in barrels that previously held 18-year-old Irish Whiskey integrated the tannin profile while dding creamy, waffle cone notes due to the barrels' toast profile.
