JIM BEAM DEVILS CUT plays off the notion of "angel’s share", the bourbon lost to evaporation during aging. A portion of the evaporation gets trapped in the wood, and that’s what we call "Devil’s Cut". Our distillers have found a unique and proprietary way to extract this premium bourbon from the barrel wood. Then they add this rich liquid to an extra mature bourbon which results in a bolder aroma, darker colour, more complex flavour profile with a smoother finish.
