This exceptional edition created by our current Distillery manager, John Campbell, is left to rest in first-fill, over-charred ex-bourbon barrels before further maturing in large, new European oak hogshead, never before used by Laphroaig. These give a slower maturation than traditional casks. Our signature peat smoke combined with soft oak and rice dried fruit. A whisky of great depth.

Colour: Deep orange sunset Nose: Signature peat-smoke laden with rich toasted figs and baked orange pepper, combined with soft oak tannins. Taste: A rich combination of smooth creamy peat oils, dark fruits and warming allspice. Finish: Oak-enriched dried fruit, creamy malt and lingering smoked walnut.
