A silky-smooth, elegant and subtly perfumed rendition of Shiraz, this wine is better suited to the old-world name Syrah. It is restrained yet complex, providing layer upon layer of mulberry, white pepper, tarragon, cedar, earth and flint in a traditional balanced medium-bodied style. Eminently drinkable now, it is expected to cellar gracefully.

An assemblage of ten individual small batches sourced from the Estate’s sole block of Shiraz, this cool-climate classically complex Syrah-style delivers an intense head and beguiling fragrance of mulberry/boysenberry, plum, musk, tarragon, white pepper, cedar and all-spice. The deceptively weighty all-embracing palate carries brooding flavours of sumac and caraway, dark berry and chocolate with gliding fruit, plushness like velour and fine-grained tannins.
