Each layer is chock-full of golden goodies to unearth, and chief among them are Banandium Gems. Collecting these tasty treats will earn you Skill Points to increase DKs max health, power up his punches and learn new skills.

UNLEASH THE BANANZAS!

By harnessing Bananzas, ancient powers passed down in the Underground World, Paulines singing can make DK transform into new animal forms. These transformations wont last forever though, so use them wisely and gather up gold to keep your Bananergy topped up.

TEAM UP WITH A FRIEND

In 2-player co-op mode, one player controls Donkey Kong while the other can be Pauline, riding on DKs shoulder, using her powerful vocal blasts to clear a path and zap baddies. (You can even try Joy-Con 2 mouse controls for more precise aiming!) Pauline can also copy nearby terrain to add some environmental umph to her blasts. When DK and Pauline work together, the bad guys dont stand a chance!
