Dark and ruby red in color, the fragrant notes are prominently ripe berries, with spices from Mediterranean maquis. Full bodied and structured, the mature fruits on the palate are backed by velvety tannins of exceptional finesse, with a surprising lively freshness and a lingering finish. Serving temp. 16-18°C. Food Pairing: Young vintages: grilled or roast beef, tenderloin, lamb. Mature vintages: more delicate meat as pigeon, wood pigeon, pot roast.
