Sangiovese
Allergens: Contains sulphites
The nose reveals tomato pulp, oregano, bay leaf, coriander seed. Old-fashioned quince and rhubarb. Malty oak only just perceptible, interwoven with leather and sump oil aromatics. The palate is medium-bodied. Fresh, primary and varietally correct. Rose-pe tal florals and red fruits. Bright, Fuji apple acidity. No oak with tannins appearing to do the heavy (structural) lifting.
